In 2016, Attorney Benison-Camell established the Mary Beth Benison Foundation Inc., (MBB) a 501(c)3 non-profit in memory of her sister who passed away from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, in 2015. The primary mission of MBB is to #SpreadTheLove by providing financial assistance to ALS patients. For the last 8 years she has run every aspect of the organization on her own. She is dedicated to doing what she can to help those living with ALS and is happy to say that as of September 2022, MBB has provided over $220,000.00 in financial assistance. Attorney Benison-Camell has met many people through her work and has gotten to know them and their families on a personal level. Hearing their stories has given her the perspective and understanding of what is important and also motivated her to continue to work hard. She is currently working on an initiative to offer pro bono legal services through MBB to people living with ALS.

Attorney Benison-Camell is also a licensed Realtor® and has worked with Lamacchia Realty Inc. since September 2021. She resides in Holden, MA with her husband, their three children and dog Hercules.
